About Us

The Royal Air Force Lodge No. 7335 is a unique and historic Masonic lodge established to bring together commissioned officers of the Royal Air Force, Royal Naval Air Service, and Royal Flying Corps. Consecrated on 30th March 1954 at Freemasons’ Hall in London, the lodge was founded to foster bonds of friendship and fraternity among those who have served their country in the air and its allied branches.

Our Mission

The RAF Lodge exists to promote the core principles of Freemasonry: integrity, friendship, respect and service. Through our shared heritage and commitment to these values, we provide a supportive and enriching environment for members to grow personally and contribute positively to society.

A Proud Heritage

The RAF Lodge has deep roots in both Freemasonry and the proud traditions of the Royal Air Force. Its founding members sought to create a space where those with a shared background in military aviation could unite under Masonic values. From its inception, the lodge has upheld traditions such as the use of RAF ties and military titles while emphasizing equality and mutual respect among all brethren.

Today, the lodge continues to honour its legacy by meeting at Freemasons’ Hall and holding its festive boards at the prestigious Royal Air Force Club, blending the best of Masonic and RAF traditions.

What We Do

As a part of the United Grand Lodge of England, the RAF Lodge engages in a variety of activities that reflect the values of Freemasonry. These include:

• Charitable Endeavours: Supporting local, national, and international causes to make a meaningful impact in the world.

Ceremonial and Social Events: Conducting inspiring ceremonies and enjoying social gatherings that strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.

Personal Growth and Learning: Providing members with opportunities for self-reflection, leadership development, and moral growth.

A Lodge for RAF Officers

Membership in the RAF Lodge is open to commissioned officers of the Royal Air Force, its auxiliaries, reserves, and associated branches. This ensures a shared understanding of the values of duty, service, and camaraderie that define both Freemasonry and military life.
